Lee Caldwell made history in 2011 by being the first female Supervisor for DeSoto County. Supervisor Caldwell chairs, and is a member of, many committees for DeSoto County , the region, and the state.

- Driving DeSoto initiative to lobby state and federal lawmakers for highway widening
