About Us

DeSoto County Agri-Education Center

Rooted in the heart of DeSoto County, the Agri-Education Center is a multi-use facility dedicated to promoting agricultural education, community involvement, and outdoor recreation. Built on more than 200 acres of open land, the Center features indoor and outdoor arenas, flexible rental spaces, equestrian trails, walking paths, and more—creating a one-of-a-kind destination for learning, showcasing, and connecting.

This project represents the vision of the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors, fulfilling a long-standing promise to build a community-focused park on this site. What began as a commitment to preserve green space and support agriculture has grown into a center that will serve residents for generations to come.

From livestock shows and 4-H events to educational workshops and outdoor activities, the Agri-Education Center is designed to bring people together around the shared values of learning, sustainability, and community pride.

The facility is expected to open to the public this summer. We can’t wait to welcome you!.
