DeSoto County Government offices will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 6, 2021. Emergency services will not be impacted by the holiday closing.
Garbage and Recycling service within the Unincorporated areas of DeSoto County will be affected. Waste Pro USA will not provide service on Monday, September 6. Service will be one day late for the remainder of the week. (Mon-Tues, Tues-Wed, Wed-Thurs, Thurs-Fri, Fri-Sat.)
County Curbside Rubbish and Debris Collection will also be affected. The County will not pick up on Monday. Regularly scheduled routes will run Tuesday-Friday.
The Rubbish Facilities at 5255 West Sandidge Road in Olive Branch and 9353 Star Landing Road West in Lake Cormorant will be closed Monday. The rubbish pits will be open on all other regularly scheduled days.
