DeSoto County Supervisors accepted the resignation of the District 3 Election Commissioner. Per Mississippi's State Election Code, Supervisors will appoint a replacement to fill the position until a Special Election is held on November 2, 2021.
There will be three positions on the November 2 ballot.
- Justice Court Judge - District One
- Election Commissioner - District Two
- Election Commissioner - District Three
Friday, September 3, is the filing deadline to qualify as a candidate on the November 2, 2021 ballot.
