Although the study will consider regional development influences in DeSoto County as a whole, it will primarily focus on a defined study area. The defined study area includes approximately 112,700 acres of land within DeSoto County, roughly bounded from 2 miles north and 2 miles south of the existing alignment of Interstate 69 and the proposed alignment of Interstate 269, and from Highway 61 to the Marshall County line.
